Vicki Chan, MD

Vicki Chan is a board-certified ophthalmologist based in Southern California. She attended the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and completed her training and glaucoma fellowship at the UCLA Stein Eye Institute. Dr. Chan has a passion for social media marketing, education, and advocacy. She realized years ago the impact social media could have on society - beyond the patients she sees in her office - to help educate, inspire, and humanize medicine. She currently works with the Public Goods Project/#ThisIsOurShot, the United Nations/#TeamHalo, the World Health Organization, and the California Department of Public Health to fight misinformation and educate the public on health issues
